Arguably one of the best dive destinations in the world, the remote Tubbataha park encompasses over 100,000 hectares of protected reefs - A unique and pristine haven for marine life at the heart of the coral triangle. Home to healthy populations of sharks, rays, schooling fish and turtles, and accessible only by liveaboard for just a few months a year.

Tubbataha dive season is just three months long, running from mid-March until mid-June. At this time of year diving conditions are usually optimum – clear skies, calm seas and visibility between 30 and 45 meters. Beyond this period it is not possible to dive in Tubbataha as the National Park is closed.

Diving Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is on almost every divers bucket list and rightfully so. Located in the Sulu Sea, and about half a day s boat ride from any major town, it is one of Asia’s best diving spots. Tubbataha Reef is made of two coral Atolls-The North Atoll and the South Atoll. With over 600 species of fish and 300 species of corals, nesting turtles, dozen species of sharks and dolphins, it offers a vastly biodiverse diving experience!

Dive Sites : The dive sites visited on this trip include the Malayan wreck, Wall Street, Amos rock, SharkAirport, Washing Machine and the Ranger Station on the North Atoll.On the South Atoll, we will visit South West Wall, Staghorn Point, Delsan Wreck, Black Wreck and Twreck. On the way back we will dive the famous Jessie Beazley Reef located north west of the NorthAtoll.

Marine Life: Nurse sharks, White tip, Black tip, and Grey reef sharks can be seen patrolling thesewaters in large numbers. Manta rays & Eagle rays can be seen closer to the surface along withendangered Green turtles and Hawksbill turtles. Giant trevallies, Red snappers, Groupers, Barracudas,Spanish mackerel and other large fish are also seen in the reefs of Tubbataha. Pygmy horses, small reeffish and Anemone fish often hide in the giant gorgonian fan corals and other hard and soft corals.

The 10% deposit made at the time of booking is nonrefundable.

For any cancellations made after 15th Feb. no refund can be issued.

COVID Guidelines

  • COVID-19 Specific Guarantee We will provide guests with a Full Cruise Credit (FCC) to reschedule their cruise up to 24 months from their cruise departure if either of the following conditions are met.

  • COVID-19 specific travel restrictions include the following:

    • Ecuador closes its borders or prevents travelers from entering due to governmental guidelines and restrictions on your country of residence.

    • Your country of residence presents you from departing due to their governmental guidelines and restrictions on the entry to Ecuador.

    • Your country of residence has a mandated 10-14 day quarantine upon returning to your home country. We recommend that all travelers purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy, preferably CFAR, should you need to cancel for any other reason.

    • Medical illnesses, including COVID-19, that prevent travel are covered by Travel Insurance. Please check your Travel Insurance policy. COVID-19 Vaccine card and applicable PCR test results.

Orca Dive Club will not be responsible for no diving due to weather conditions, for civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, illness, epidemics, accidents, injuries, damage, loss and theft, quarantine, customs regulations, changes in flight itinerary, delays, deportation or refusal of entry by immigration authorities and in case of any cancellation or changes to itinerary by the Local Government. For qualified divers, you are expected to be able to dive to a standard as per the certification and experience requirements outlined. You are responsible for your own and your buddy’s safety during the dive.
