Terms & Conditions
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS | By participating in our programs, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this document. Your acceptance indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all policies and requirements set forth by Orca Dive Club. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these terms, please do not hesitate to reach out for clarification. |
TRAVEL AND DIVE INSURANCE | For all Orca Dive Club trips, it is essential for customers to hold specific dive insurance. This requirement is particularly important for trips to remote locations and Liveaboard excursions, where dive insurance is mandatory. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance for additional protection. It serves as your safety net for issues such as injuries, emergency evacuations, lost belongings, cancellations, or delays. Need assistance in navigating your dive or travel insurance options? Contact us at Orca Dive Club, and we’ll be happy to help! |
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS | We recommend consulting your physician regarding the health requirements for the country you are visiting. Additionally, please review the medical statement below. A clearance form from a physician is mandatory for clients aged 45 and above, or if you answer “yes” to any questions on the form. |
PARTICIPATION RISKS | At Orca Dive Club, we’re committed to making your experience both enjoyable and safe. But it’s important to remember that activities like scuba diving and snorkelling carry certain risks, especially since dive trips may take place at locations that are remote from emergency medical or recompression facilities. Encounters with marine life can be unpredictable; we encourage all participants to exercise caution, and maintain respectful distance to minimise risks. Certified divers should always adhere to their training standards and prioritise both their own safety and that of their dive buddies. Please note, Orca Dive Club is not liable for any personal injuries, financial losses, or misplaced belongings during your trip. We recommend that all participants take steps to ensure their own safety and well-being throughout the trip. |
TRAVEL AND ACTIVITY DISRUPTIONS | Orca Dive Club is not liable for any cancellations or changes to diving activities due to weather conditions, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, illness, epidemics, accidents, injuries, loss or damage to property, theft, quarantine, customs issues, flight changes or delays, deportation, or immigration refusals. Additionally, we are not responsible for any alterations to the itinerary made by local authorities. |
PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA RELEASE | By participating in Orca Dive Club activities, you acknowledge and grant permission for the capture of photographs and videos during the trips. These images may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to brochures, websites, and social media platforms. If you prefer not to be included in any media materials, please notify our staff before the activities begin. Your cooperation helps us showcase the incredible experiences offered by Orca Dive Club while respecting your privacy. |
EQUIPMENT USE AND LIABILITY | Participants are responsible for the proper use and care of all diving equipment provided. It is essential to ensure that all gear is in good working condition before use, and participants are encouraged to report any issues immediately. Orca Dive Club is not liable for any injuries or damages resulting from the misuse or malfunction of equipment. Participants who use personal equipment must ensure that it meets safety standards and is appropriate for the activities undertaken. |
BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS | To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience participants must behave respectfully and responsibly throughout the duration of the trip. Adherence to the instructions of Orca Dive Club staff and dive leaders is mandatory. This includes following safety protocols, respecting fellow divers, and demonstrating care for the marine environment. Disruptive behavior, including but not limited to excessive noise, substance abuse, or harassment of any kind, will not be tolerated and may lead to removal without refund. Your cooperation is appreciated for a positive atmosphere. |
