About

Mabul Island

Located just twenty minutes by boat from the world-famous Sipadan, Mabul offers divers an extraordinary array of dive sites and an astonishing diversity of marine life. Within 10 minutes of Resort, you will find wall dives, gently sloping coral reefs, artificial reefs, world-famous muck diving sites as well as a wreck! Mabul has long been known as a macro diver's paradise and is indeed one of the richest single destinations for exotic small marine life anywhere in the world.

​Si Amil Island

Pelagic And Macro, A Perfect Combination

​

Located 45 minutes away from Mabul, Si Amil offers divers a bit of everything, from very rare macro life, such as Rhinopia, Ambon scorpion fish, blue-ring octopus, to the more frequent (but equally beautiful) sea-horses, frogfish, ghost pipefish and even Seamoths! If that doesn't quite tick your boxes- then there is always the chance of experiencing the awe-inspiring site of 100's of devil rays in the blue, or even a school of eagle rays gliding past!

There are amazing critters for everyone, no matter what your particular taste, whether you are a keen photographer and interested in the weird and wonderful creatures, or an avid lover of the bigger pelagic marine life- the chances are, you will experience them all!

The Stay

The Resort is an eco-friendly, located on Mabul Island, just a hop and a skip away from world-famous Sipadan National Park...

​

Mabul is a small island on Sabah’s east coast. You can stroll around the whole island in under an hour. There are limited facilities here - in the village you will find some small stalls selling things as snacks and cigarettes, but there are no supermarkets on the island. 

​

These small shops are all cash only, please note there are no ATM’s or money exchange facilities on the island so it is best to bring some pocket money from Semporna.

There is a small retail shop in the resort for souvenirs, toiletries and dive accessories, but if you are looking for something specific, it is better to buy on the mainland before reaching the island.

VIP AC ROOM X 1

​

Spacious air-conditioned VIP rooms each have one king size bed, as well as a ceiling fan, a private ensuite bathroom with solar heated hot shower, a safe and an extended balcony over the beach offering a partial sea view. The VIP AC rooms are the closest rooms to the beach & ocean and are the only ones with partial sea-views.

DELUXE AC ROOM X 4

​

Most popular choice, it features either one king size bed OR one queen size bed and one single bed. It is suitable for twin or triple share. 

All deluxe AC rooms come with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a safe, a private bathroom with solar heated hot water shower and a private balcony with garden view.

  • 16th Sept. - Reach Tawau and head to Semporna - 1 Night stay in Semporna  

  • 17th Sept. - Transfer to Mabul 8am and dive Mabul (2/3 Dives)

  • 18th Sept. - Dive Mabul / Si Amil (3 DIVES)

  • 19th Sept. - Dive Sipadan  (2 dives + 1 NON SIPADAN) 

  • 20th Sept. - Dive Sipadan (2 dives + 1 NON SIPADAN) 

  • 21st Sept. - Dive Sipadan (2 dives + 1 NON SIPADAN) 

  • Depart at 4 pm via Ferry & stay 1N stay in Tawau 22nd Sept. - Fly out to Mumbai post 10 am
