Big Fish Country
Maratua’s signature drift dive, known for strong currents, reef sharks, schools of barracuda, and thrilling pelagic encounters.
Sangalaki Island
Home to famous manta cleaning stations where divers can witness graceful manta rays gliding effortlessly above the reefs.
Kakaban Island
A diverse dive destination featuring coral gardens, dramatic walls, schooling fish, and the chance to spot thresher sharks.
Maratua Dive Sites

Itinerary
15th August | Arrival & Check Dive
- Arrival in Berau, Indonesia.
- Transfer to Maratua Island by speedboat.
- Resort check-in, orientation dive, and trip briefing.
16th – 19th August | Dive Days
- 3 dives per day.
- Explore Maratua’s iconic channels, coral reefs, turtle hotspots, Kakaban Island, and Sangalaki’s manta cleaning stations.
- Optional night dives available.
- Dive schedule may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
20th August | Final Dive Day
- 2 dives included.
- Optional third dive subject to surface interval requirements and flight schedule.
- Farewell dinner and trip wrap-up.
21st August | Departure
- Check-out and transfer to Berau Airport.

Yes. Dive insurance is mandatory for all participants. Travel insurance is also strongly recommended.

More than 6 months before departure: Full refund of advance payment minus bank charges.
