Where You’ll Be Diving
Fuvahmulah
Explore Fuvahmulah’s deep dive sites and reefs, with opportunities to encounter tiger sharks in their natural environment. Known for its open-ocean setting and big marine life, Fuvahmulah offers an exhilarating experience for experienced divers.
Addu Atoll
Discover Addu’s underwater highlights with dives planned around Manta Point, known for manta encounters, and the historic British Loyalty shipwreck. The final dive plan depends on sea conditions and operational arrangements.
Huvadhoo Atoll
Head to Huvadhoo for channel dives where currents bring the possibility of encountering grey reef sharks, eagle rays, spinner sharks and bull sharks. It’s an opportunity to experience the dynamic underwater environments of the southern Maldives.
Open Ocean
Join an early-morning snorkelling or freediving excursion in search of the Oceanic Whitetip Shark, also known as Longimanus. This is a special open-ocean encounter rather than a scuba dive, and sightings are not guaranteed.
Itinerary
ARRIVAL DAY
- Arrive in Malé and take a domestic flight to Fuvahmulah. Meet the team, transfer to Ocean Pearl, and check in.
FUVAHMULAH DIVING
- Enjoy three dives: one deep dive, one reef dive, and one tiger shark dive.
HUVADHOO DAY TRIP
Head out on a full-day excursion featuring two channel dives, with possible encounters with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, spinner sharks, and bull sharks. Packed lunch and refreshments are included.
FUVAHMULAH DIVING
- Enjoy three dives exploring deep dive sites, reefs, and areas known for tiger shark encounters.
ADDU DAY TRIP
Complete two dives, choosing between two dives at Manta Point or one at Manta Point and one at the British Loyalty shipwreck, subject to conditions.
FUVAHMULAH DIVING
Enjoy three more dives featuring deep-water exploration, reef diving, and potential tiger shark encounters. End the day with a traditional Maldivian dinner.
OCEANIC WHITETIP EXPEDITION
Set out on an early-morning snorkelling or freediving excursion in search of Oceanic Whitetip Sharks. Take an evening domestic flight to Malé and stay overnight in Hulhumalé.

Depart Malé for your onward journey to Mumbai.

Accomodation
Ocean Pearl — Your island retreat.
After exhilarating dives and days spent exploring the Deep South, unwind at Ocean Pearl, your comfortable base in Fuvahmulah. The package includes six nights of bed-and-breakfast accommodation on a twin-sharing basis, giving you a relaxing space between underwater adventures.
The stay also includes an overnight stop in Hulhumalé on 4th April before your departure from Malé; this night is not included in the package price and must be arranged separately

A minimum Open Water Diver certification is required. At least 20 logged dives are recommended for certain sites. Dive Masters will advise on site suitability based on your experience.
Yes. Dive insurance is mandatory for all Orca Dive Club trips. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover emergencies, evacuations, cancellations, delays and lost belongings.
Yes. Night dives are optional and available at an additional cost, subject to availability and conditions.
30% advance is required to secure your spot, and the remaining 70% balance is payable 3 months before departure.
More than 6 months before departure: Full refund of the 30% advance, less bank charges. Between 6 and 3 months before departure: The 30% advance is non-refundable. Less than 3 months before departure: 100% of the trip payment is non-refundable. No-show or early departure: No refund.
Flights and visa fees, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, personal scuba diving equipment and rentals, DAN short-term dive insurance and travel insurance, Talisayan Whale Shark Trip, additional dives, night dives, dive guide and island service tips, additional hotel stays, meals and beverages outside the package, and personal or incidental expenses.
Yes. Regulators, BCDs, fins, masks, wetsuits, dive computers and other equipment are available at additional costs.
No. The optional Talisayan Whale Shark excursion costs USD 95 per person, subject to a minimum of 6 participants.
