Whale Shark Encounters
Head out on a whale shark trip and experience the excitement of searching for one of the ocean’s most iconic giants in the waters around South Ari Atoll. Sightings are subject to natural conditions and are not guaranteed.Â
Marine Life and Ocean Encounters
Keep an eye out for sea turtles, rays and schools of tropical fish as you explore the underwater world around Dhangethi. Every outing offers a chance to experience the Maldives’ rich marine biodiversity.
Manta Point

Itinerary
ARRIVAL AND ORIENTATION
Arrive in Malé and transfer to Dhangethi via scheduled speedboat Check-in at the hotel and settle in Visit the dive center for paperwork and equipment setup
DIVE DAYS
- Dive into some of the most breathtaking underwater landscapes in the Maldives
- Spend your days exploring the vibrant reefs with 2–3 dives daily
- Guided snorkeling session included during the trip
DEPARTURE DAY
Transfer from Dhangethi to Malé by speedboat for your onward journey back to Mumbai

Yes, the trip offers certification and fun diving. Beginners interested in certification should confirm the appropriate course and prerequisites with Orca Dive Club before booking.
The package includes 9 dives, including 1 night dive, along with unlimited snorkelling.
The package includes a whale shark trip. However, sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
DAN dive insurance is listed as excluded from the package. Contact Orca Dive Club for insurance arrangements. Travel insurance is also recommended.
Breakfast is included with the accommodation. Lunch, dinner and beverages are charged separately.
The brochure specifies a 50% payment to confirm the booking, with the remaining 50% payable before 20th November 2026. It also outlines cancellation charges based on the time remaining before departure. Please confirm the applicable terms with Orca Dive Club before booking.
