Located in the heart of South Ari Atoll, Dhangethi is your gateway to some of the Maldives’ most famous dive sites, where manta rays glide gracefully, reef sharks patrol the blue, and soft corals paint the seascape in colour.
This is diving that’s equal parts serenity and spectacle, the kind that reconnects you with the ocean, one breath at a time.
Where You’ll Be Diving
Maamigili Beyru
A hotspot for whale shark encounters, this outer reef dive brings you face-to-face with the Maldives’ most majestic gentle giant.
Kuda Rah Thila
One of South Ari’s signature dives, dramatic overhangs, stunning soft corals, and swirling schools of fusiliers and snappers.
Vilamendhoo Thila
A beautiful coral pinnacle buzzing with marine life- turtles, white-tip reef sharks, and vibrant anthias everywhere.
Manta Point
If luck’s on your side, you’ll witness manta rays at their cleaning stations, circling gracefully above the reef.
Itinerary
Arrive in Malé by 7:00 AM, transfer to Dhangethi by speedboat, check in at Ari Grand Hotel, dive center orientation & equipment setup.
Explore the reefs with 2–3 dives per day (8 dives total, including one night dive). Guided snorkeling session and whale shark excursion included
Morning transfer from Dhangethi to Malé by speedboat for your onward journey

Fly to Agatti Island, then take a 2–2.5-hour boat transfer to Kavaratti arranged by ORCA Dive Club.
Up to 9 dives, including reef, drift, and night dives (for certified divers).
Minimum PADI Open Water certification (or equivalent). The trip is suitable for divers comfortable with reef and drift dives.
Yes, full equipment rental is included in the diver package.
Nitrox is not required for this itinerary, as the dives are relatively shallow lagoon and reef dives.
A 50% deposit secures your spot. The balance must be paid one month before departure.
- Cancellations over 30 days before departure – 50% non-refundable.
- Cancellations within 30 days – 100% non-refundable.
Yes, short-term DAN insurance is included in the diver package.
