Welcome to the Deep South Maldives

The kingdom of pelagics.
Here, the ocean feels raw, wild, and untamed. You’re diving in a realm where tiger sharks patrol, bull sharks rise from the blue, silky sharks glide effortlessly, and giant mantas sweep through the current. Add in pristine reefs and remote atolls, and you’ve got the Maldives at its most adventurous.

Your journey takes you across Addu, Fuvamulah, and Huvadhoo- the holy trinity of shark diving in the Indian Ocean. Each atoll has its own character: Fuvamulah, the “Shark Capital,” Addu with its manta points and WWII wreck, and Huvadhoo with untouched coral walls and thrilling channels.

Where You’ll Be Diving

Sipadan Island

One of the world’s top five dive destinations. Expect adrenaline-pumping drift dives, massive schools of fish, bumphead parrotfish, sharks, and turtle encounters on nearly every dive.

Mabul Island

Welcome to macro heaven. Frogfish, ghost pipefish, flamboyant cuttlefish, and other rare critters make every inch of the reef worth inspecting.

Kapalai Reef

A beautiful blend of sandy slopes and artificial reefs. Perfect for chilled-out dives with surprising marine life and loads of photography opportunities.

Seaventures House Reef

Your personal playground beneath the rig. Dive in at your own pace—day or night—and uncover a world teeming with marine life right under your feet.

Fuvahmulah

Known as the “Shark Capital of the Maldives.” Here you may encounter tiger sharks year-round, plus thresher sharks, hammerheads, and oceanic manta rays. Every dive is adrenaline-packed with true pelagic action.

Addu Atoll

A blend of big-fish diving and WWII history. Explore the largest wreck in the Maldives (the British Loyalty), drift past eagle rays and reef sharks, and enjoy manta cleaning stations that thrive in the atoll’s channels.

Huvadhoo Atoll

One of the world’s biggest atolls and a hotspot for biodiversity. Famous for its shark action, expect grey reef, silver tip, and white tip reef sharks in abundance, along with vibrant coral reefs teeming with schooling fish.

Laamu Atoll

Remote and pristine, Laamu offers dramatic channels and walls where strong currents bring in pelagics—barracuda, trevally, tuna, and occasionally whale sharks cruising by.
