Coral Gardens & Reef Slopes
Kavaratti’s reefs are among the most vibrant in Lakshadweep, narrow lagoons bursting with life and color. Dive among star corals, brain corals, and living carpets of anemones, where sea cucumbers and small reef dwellers thrive in pristine waters.
Lagoon Dives
The island’s calm, turquoise lagoons are perfect for relaxed exploration. Watch clownfish dart in and out of anemones, surrounded by clouds of butterflyfish, angelfish, and wrasse glinting in the sunlight.
Outer Reef & Drift Sites
For those seeking a bit more adventure, drift along Kavaratti’s outer reef walls — where coral formations drop dramatically and schools of reef fish, rays, and the occasional turtle glide through crystal-clear blue.
Itinerary
Arrival and Orientation
- Fly to Agatti and take boat transfer to Kavaratti (approximately 2 to 2.5 hrs)
- Check-in at the resort Orientation and equipment check Evening at leisure on the beach
Dive Day One
- Morning and afternoon dive sessions
- Total dives: 3 (boat dives at top sites around Kavaratti)
Dive Day Two
- Morning and afternoon dive sessions
- Total dives: 4 (reef dives / drift dives / night dives)
Dive Day Three
- Total Dives: 2 (explore coral gardens / marine life)
- Afternoon at leisure for relaxation or local sightseeing
Departure Day
- Early morning boat transfer from Kavaratti to Agatti

Fly to Agatti Island, then take a 2–2.5-hour boat transfer to Kavaratti arranged by ORCA Dive Club.
Up to 9 dives, including reef, drift, and night dives (for certified divers).
Minimum PADI Open Water certification (or equivalent). The trip is suitable for divers comfortable with reef and drift dives.
Yes, full equipment rental is included in the diver package.
Nitrox is not required for this itinerary, as the dives are relatively shallow lagoon and reef dives.
A 50% deposit secures your spot. The balance must be paid one month before departure.
- Cancellations over 30 days before departure – 50% non-refundable.
- Cancellations within 30 days – 100% non-refundable.
Yes, short-term DAN insurance is included in the diver package.
