Your journey begins and ends in Hurghada, taking you through the Northernmost Red Sea and Dahab. Between dives, slow down, soak in the views and let the Red Sea become your home for the week.
Where You’ll Be Diving
Dolphin House
The location of your check dives, with 2 dives planned.
Ras Mohamed National Park
Home to the dramatic walls and iconic reefs of Ras Mohamed, with 3 dives across the day.
Dahab – Blue Hole
Famous for the legendary Blue Hole and canyons. Guided dives for experienced divers only.
Strait of Tiran
Known for its reefs, with 3–4 dives including night diving where conditions permit.
SS Thistlegorm & Gubal
Home to the legendary SS Thistlegorm wreck, with 3–4 dives across the day.
Abu Nuhas
Famous for its wrecks, with 2–3 dives.
Itinerary
3rd July | Arrival in Hurghada
Arrive in Hurghada after 2 PM.
Transfer to the liveaboard at the scheduled time.
Check-in after 5 PM, settle into your cabin and prepare for the expedition.
4th July | Dolphin House
Dive Day 1.
Check dives at Dolphin House.
2 dives planned.
5th July | Ras Mohamed National Park
Dive Day 2.
Explore the iconic Ras Mohamed National Park.
3 dives across the day.
6th July | Dahab – Blue Hole
Dive Day 3.
3 dives at Dahab, including the legendary Blue Hole and canyons.
Guided dives for experienced divers only.
Dinner on land, subject to coastguard permit and conditions.
7th July | Strait of Tiran
Dive Day 4.
Explore the reefs of the Strait of Tiran.
3–4 dives, including night diving where conditions permit.
8th July | SS Thistlegorm & Gubal
Dive Day 5.
Explore the legendary SS Thistlegorm and Gubal.
3–4 dives across the day.
9th July | Abu Nuhas
Dive Day 6.
Explore the famous wrecks of Abu Nuhas.
2–3 dives.
Return to Hurghada port in the evening.
10th July | Departure
Early morning breakfast onboard.
Disembarkation between 5 AM and 9 AM and departure from Hurghada.
Dive sites, number of dives and dive schedules may change depending on weather and sea conditions.

Hammerhead 2 Liveaboard
Designed for days spent diving and evenings spent unwinding, Hammerhead 2 gives you the perfect base for your North Red Sea expedition. Spread across multiple decks, the liveaboard features spacious accommodation, indoor and outdoor lounges, dining spaces and a dedicated diving platform. From early morning dives to sunset conversations on deck, every day brings a new way to experience the Red Sea.

Faqs
3rd – 10th July 2027 (7N/8D) aboard Hammerhead 2 in the Northern Red Sea and Dahab, with 6 days of diving.
The minimum requirement is Open Water Diver certification. For the Blue Hole and canyon dives at Dahab, guided dives are mandatory and these dives are restricted to experienced divers.
The trip includes 6 days of diving, with approximately 3 dives per day, and additional dives or night dives depending on the itinerary and conditions.
Night dives are planned, weather permitting, and are subject to sea and diving conditions.
The remaining 50% is due before 10th May 2025.
Yes. Dive insurance is mandatory for liveaboard trips. Travel insurance is highly recommended. Short term DAN insurance is not included in the package.
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your spot. The remaining 70% is payable on or before 1st May 2027.
The 30% booking deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations within 60 days of departure are non-refundable. No-shows, flight cancellations or late arrivals are not eligible for refunds for unused services. Unused pre-paid dives are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Airport meet and assist, scheduled airport-to-boat transfers, local dive guides, Orca Dive Club team members, 7 nights shared double ensuite accommodation, 3 buffet meals daily, snacks and soft drinks, 6 days of diving, night dives (weather permitting), 12L tank, weights and weight belt, and an Orca goodies bag.
International flights, Indian taxes, Egypt entry visa, pre/post-trip hotel stays, unscheduled transfers, rental equipment, short term DAN insurance, travel insurance, Nitrox, Wi-Fi, alcoholic beverages, personal expenses, and anything not listed in the inclusions.
Yes. BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, torch, computer, SMB and full gear are available at an additional cost.
Yes. Nitrox is available as an optional add-on.
PADI Advanced Open Water, Nitrox, Deep Dive Speciality, Wreck Dive Speciality and Night Dive Speciality. Additional requirements may apply for specific courses and guided dives.
Yes. Airport meet and assist and scheduled transfers between the airport and liveaboard are included.
Arrival in Hurghada is recommended after 2 PM on 3rd July. Boat check-in begins after 5 PM.
